Privacy Policy
Short version: the calculators run in your browser, we do not ask for your name or email, and we do not save the dates you enter. Last updated October 19, 2026.
Who we are
This policy covers daysince.org (“Day Since”, “we”). You can reach us at [email protected].
Dates you enter
All counting happens in your web browser. The dates you type into a calculator are not sent to our server and are not stored. If you press “Copy link”, the dates are added to the web address so you can share them. Anyone who opens that link, and the servers that deliver the page, will see the dates in the address, so do not share links that contain dates you want to keep private.
Information collected automatically
Like almost every website, our hosting provider and our content delivery and security service, Cloudflare, process technical information when you load a page. This includes your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. It is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and block abuse, and is kept only as long as those providers need it for that purpose.
Cookies
Day Since does not set advertising or tracking cookies. We do not use analytics at the moment. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary cookie to tell real visitors apart from bots. Site administrators who log in to WordPress receive login cookies; ordinary visitors do not.
If we add analytics or advertising in the future, we will update this page first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent before any non-essential cookies are used.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply and to improve the site, and we do not sell or share it.
Children
Day Since is a general-audience site. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it. Because we do not store the dates you enter and do not run accounts, we usually hold nothing beyond emails you send us. To make a request, email [email protected].
Changes to this policy
If anything here changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
