Why count the days since you met?
Anniversaries come once a year. Day counts give you more moments to notice. Day 100 is early and sweet. Day 500 often lands somewhere unexpected in the middle of the year. Day 1,000 is a real landmark, and few people know their date for it, which makes it a lovely surprise.
If you met on June 12, 2021, day 1,000 fell on March 8, 2024, and your five-year mark on June 12, 2026 was day 1,826. That is one more than 5 × 365 because 2024 had a February 29.
Not sure of the exact date? Look back through old messages, photos or your calendar. The first photo together or the first message thread usually pins it down. If you only know the month, pick the 1st and treat your count as approximate; you can always change the date later and the milestones update instantly.
Ideas for day-count milestones
- Day 100: a note listing 100 small things you like about them.
- Day 365: revisit the place you met, or recreate your first date.
- Day 1,000: a photo book with one picture from each season you have shared.
- Day 2,000 and beyond: write down what has changed since day 1, and what you hope for the next thousand.

Milestones do not need to be big or expensive. A short message on day 500 that says “500 days, and I would do every one again” often means more than a gift. The point is noticing.
Days, weeks or months together?
In the early days, weeks and months feel natural: “we have been together three months”. After a year or two, days become fun again because the numbers get big. The calculator shows all of them, plus the years-months-days breakdown, so you can say “2 years, 4 months and 9 days” with confidence.

Should the day we met count as day 1?
By default the counter shows full days since you met, so the next day is day 1. Tick “Include end date” if you count the day you met as day 1.
How many days is 2 years together?
730 days, or 731 if a February 29 falls in between.
